What happens when an event planner and an organic farmer come together to celebrate a fantastic new neighborhood? In the words of Andie Donnan, “You throw a great party.”

Donnan, along with co-founder Danielle Stowell, created the Millwork Night Market, which is quickly becoming the coolest family-friendly, Thursday night “scene” in downtown Dubuque. The market occurs on the second Thursday of every month and is located on Jackson Street between 7th and 9th St. At last count, the market had 29 vendors selling a variety of goods from fresh produce, cooked food, craft beer, herbs and spices to body care products, fresh-cut flowers, and artwork. In addition to shopping, visitors can enjoy live music brought to the market in partnership with The Lift, a downtown pub.
