The Community Showcase, presented by the Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque, is returning on Friday, February 2, from 4-6:30 p.m. at the Mystique Community Ice Center.

This is the second year that the Foundation is hosting this popular community event at the Ice Center. The celebration is free to the public and offers an opportunity to learn about local nonprofits and vote for your favorites to help them win prizes. More than 70 nonprofit organizations will compete for your votes with interactive booths, games and prize drawings.

The Showcase will also feature:

  • Free attendance and parking
  • Free ice skating and skate rental from 4-5:45 p.m.
  • Free entertainment from local performing groups
  • Concessions for purchase, including food, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages

After the Showcase, community members can also stay and enjoy a free Dubuque Devils hockey game.

“We’re looking forward to our second Community Showcase. The Mystique Community Ice Center offers plenty of space for community members to interact with nonprofits as well as enjoy the free ice skating and entertainment,” said Wendy Sweeney, Community Foundation nonprofit partnerships coordinator. “We hope community members will take advantage of this opportunity to support their favorite nonprofits in a fun and festive atmosphere.”
