Susan Kunjummen, MD joined Grand River Medical Group (GRMG) in our Pediatric Clinic. Dr. Kunjummen cares for patients under the age of 18. What she is looking forward to the most is being able to care for children as they grow into young adults and getting to know the family while creating a good relationship with her patients and their family members. She graduated from Calicut University in India and completed her residency at USC Medical Center in Los Angeles. Before coming to Grand River Medical Group, Dr. Kunjummen worked at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan as a Pediatric Emergency Physician.
Renee Messerly, PA-C joined Grand River Medical Group as a PRN Physician’s Assistant in our Acute Clinic located in the Hy-Vee on the NW Arterial in Dubuque. Renee graduated from Des Moines University in 2013 and has experience in caring for patients in an acute care setting. Renee is looking forward to being a part of GRMG’s Acute Care Clinic, working with a wide variety of ages and illnesses. She enjoys being available for patients at extended hours on weekends, or if they’re not able to schedule with their primary care provider. Sickness can be a stressful time and she wants to provide help meeting patient’s needs during those times.
Gretchen Wenger, DNP joined Grand River Medical Group to provide care to patients within the Skilled Nursing Facilities in Dubuque. This allows GRMG to provide better coordinated care for patients when they are in the skilled nursing facilities. Gretchen received her Doctorate of Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Iowa. Gretchen is excited to work with patients and help them regain their independence after a severe illness or surgery.
