Loras College has announced that Dale Lehmann, Ph.D., professor of business analytics and associate director of its Center of Business Analytics, will serve as director of its Master of Business Administration program. He succeeds founding director Daniel Conway, Ph.D., who has accepted a position at the University of South Florida (USF).
The business analytics program at Loras has been featured in the New York Times, citing it as “cutting edge and needed.”
Lehman, who came to Loras in 2014, has taught at several universities, including Alaska Pacific University where he was also director of its MBA programs. Lehman received his doctorate degree in economics from the University of Rochester, New York and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He has also held industry positions at Bell Research and Southern Bell Telephone Company.
Lehman will continue to lead the College’s Center for Business Analytics and help facilitate a local analytics think tank of 90 Dubuque area professionals.
