Everyone from baby boomers to toddlers have grown up with a fair amount of advertising propaganda about chemicals – how they make people’s lives better, fresher, brighter, cleaner, more sanitary, better smelling, and easier. For the boomer generation, chemicals were the new panacea, but for some, this movement towards adding chemicals and fragrance to everything has had a real cost.
